How does FairFare work?
Enter your pickup and destination, and FairFare shows you estimated price ranges for both Uber and Lyft. You can then open the ride app of your choice to confirm live pricing and book directly.
Does FairFare book rides?
No. FairFare is a comparison tool only. We show you estimated prices, then open the ride app directly so you can confirm and book with Uber or Lyft.
Are the prices accurate?
FairFare shows estimated price ranges based on the route and current demand patterns. Final pricing is always confirmed inside the Uber or Lyft app before you book.
Do you store my payment information?
No. FairFare never handles bookings or payments. Your payment details stay securely with Uber and Lyft.
Is FairFare free to use?
Yes! FairFare is currently free for all users. We may introduce optional premium features in the future, but the core price comparison will always be free.
Which cities does FairFare support?
FairFare works anywhere Uber and Lyft operate. If you can book a ride in your city with those apps, you can use FairFare to compare prices.
Is iOS available?
FairFare is currently available on Android via the Google Play Store. We're working on an iOS version and expect to launch it soon. Sign up for updates on our homepage!
Why do I need to enable location services?
FairFare uses your location to suggest nearby pickup points and provide accurate routing for price estimates. You can also manually enter addresses if you prefer.
Can I save my favorite routes?
